Affinity Water THE RISE, KINGSDOWN TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2) Kent County Council gives notice that The Rise, Kingsdown has been closed to through traffic, on or after 1st June 2026 for up to 5 days. The road is closed at junction with Upper Street. The alternative route is via Upper Street, Chalk Hill Road and The Rise. This closure is necessary to enable water pipe repairs to be carried out by Affinity Water. This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.
