Upper Street, Kingsdown- Gritting

Following the first gritter run of the season unfortunately KCC Highways had to abandon the run down Upper Street, Kingsdown. This was due to parked vehicles causing obstructions for the gritter not enabling them to pass.

We kindly ask the parishioners to park in a more considerate manner baring the gritters in mind this winter. 

If there is no improvement, KCC Highways will need to revise this route, as taking the gamble to get through and then getting stuck trying to reverse out.

Is an accident waiting to happen here KCC Highways is afraid.
