Consultation on Walking and Cycling Routes in the District

Published: 15 May 2024

Do you enjoy walking or cycling to keep fit and active? If so, we would like to hear from you.
Come along to one of our drop-in sessions to share your views on how we can help to improve walking and cycling routes in the Dover district.
Sustrans, the charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle, is working with DDC to develop a Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP). The aim is to connect people and places across the district with safe and accessible routes for everyone.
This will also help Dover achieve its targets on carbon neutrality whilst improving air quality, health and the economy.
The sessions are happening at St Mary’s Church Parish Centre, Dover:
Monday 13 May, 2:30pm – 6:30pm
Tuesday 14 May, 10am – 1pm
You can also comment on the map online. Please read the introduction (to the left of the map) and then click on the map and click on 'add point' to access the relevant survey questions.
Online events are also being planned if you cannot attend in person. Please email doverlcwip@sustrans.org.uk for more information.
